North
China Research Institute of Electro-optics (NCRIEO), established in
1956, is one of the earliest institutes in the fields of INFRARED
and LASER in China.
Among
860 employees, 527 are directly involved in R&D activities. The
faculty includes an academician of the Chinese Academy of
Engineering, 33 professors, and 111 senior scientists. The institute
started the edition and publication of the journal, Laser &
Infrared, in 1971. The National Solid State Laser Engineering Center
is founded in the institute in 1993.
In
the above-mentioned infrared and laser fields, the institute
supplies all series of products from materials, devices to systems
on the basis of ISO 9001.
NCRIEO
has established the business relationship with dozens of countries,
and has been enjoying a long-term amicable cooperation with them.
The goal of NCRIEO is to become an internationally high level
institute. We, therefore, are ready for the sustained cooperation
